This photo series was executed after COVID mandatory lockdown made me realize how we shouldn't take anytihng for granted, such as having this amazing view on my previous office. I started capturing these images without too much thinking, just to register the changes that happens over the city.
Recently looking for those images made me realize that this was in fact a chronological study of seasonal transition in Central Park, that documented the natural progression from winter through spring's awakening to summer's peak and autumn's reflection.
Ironically the photos were captured under the natural flow of a New Yorker routine, how active we are during each season, like the slow activity and registers of winter, or how fast the summer goes by, while spring and fall are the seasons we hold on to, while spring it's time to get productive before summer arrive, just like we must catch up during fall after the summer rush is gone.
Just like life itself, the four seasons represent the cycle of life, where some moments may feel like last forever while other pass by to fast that you barelly can enjoy as you wanted, but once thing its clear, nothing witll break the proces or stop time itself.
We must enjoy every season, because the only thing certain is that sooner or later winter will arrive, so it's better be prepared for that moment.
